Wellington Deck & Fence provides residential and commercial outdoor construction and improvement services, including but not limited to deck design and construction, fence installation, screened enclosures, pergolas, covered patios, pool decks, deck repairs, and related outdoor living structures. All services are performed in FL and subject to applicable state and local building codes.
The information on our website describes our services in general terms. Specific scope, materials, timelines, and pricing are established in a written estimate or contract for each individual project.
All estimates provided by Wellington Deck & Fence are free of charge and represent our best assessment of the cost to complete your project based on the information available at the time of the estimate. Estimates are not binding contracts.
A written proposal or contract will be issued before any work begins. The final price is as stated in that written agreement. If site conditions, material costs, or project scope change after a contract is signed, we will notify you in writing and obtain your approval before proceeding with changes that affect the price.
Price quotes for materials are subject to availability and market pricing at the time of purchase. We will notify you of any material price changes that affect your project before ordering.
Project start dates are scheduled after a signed contract and any required deposit are received. Start dates may be affected by permit review timelines, weather, material availability, or the completion of prior projects on our schedule. We will keep you updated on any scheduling changes.
If you need to cancel or postpone a project after a contract has been signed, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation terms, including any deposit forfeiture or reimbursement for work or materials already committed, are specified in your individual contract.
We reserve the right to reschedule work due to unsafe weather conditions, including periods of heavy rain, lightning, or high winds common in South Florida's summer months. We will reschedule at the earliest reasonable opportunity at no additional charge.
Payment terms are outlined in your individual project contract. Typical terms include a deposit due at contract signing, a progress payment at a defined milestone, and a final payment upon project completion and passed final inspection.
Payment is due within the timeframe stated in your contract. Overdue balances may be subject to a late fee as specified in the contract. We reserve the right to suspend work on any project where payment obligations are not met.
Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of contract. We do not accept payment through our website.
For projects that require a building permit under Florida law and local ordinances, Wellington Deck & Fence will apply for and manage the permit process on your behalf as part of the contracted scope of work. Permit fees are typically listed separately in your estimate.
If your property is governed by a homeowners association (HOA), obtaining HOA approval is your responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing. We will assist you in preparing required documentation, but we cannot guarantee HOA approval timelines or outcomes.
Any warranty on workmanship or materials provided by Wellington Deck & Fence will be stated explicitly in your written project contract. Manufacturer warranties on materials (such as composite decking boards or hardware) are governed by the terms of the manufacturer, not by Wellington Deck & Fence.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties agree to attempt non-binding mediation before pursuing litigation. Any legal action arising from or related to these Terms or the services we provide shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Florida.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Florida.
